Product details
Front and rear mounts get different treatment on the GT Pro coilovers for the AWD 1991 to 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT. The front upper mount is a pillowball with camber adjustment, while the rear upper mount is aluminum with no camber adjustment. Spring rates are listed as application-specific, with 8.7 in front and 7.2 at the rear.
Monotube dampers in 55 mm bodies add oil capacity and cooling for track sessions, and strengthened steel lower mounts are standard on MacPherson-strut applications. Damping is 36-way, changing compression and rebound together. The heavy-duty all-steel pillowball brings sharper steering response at the cost of slightly more noise than an OEM rubber mount. Included are four assembled coilovers, damping knobs and spanner wrenches. The adjustable lower mount sets ride height. Dodge Stealth listings for 1991 to 1996 AWD and 1997 to 1999 appear on the page. Check your car with the fitment checker.
Supported features
All KSport coilovers offer 36 levels of damping adjustment. Damping alters compression and rebound together for effective, easy-to-use changes.
GT Pro uses 55mm shock bodies for added oil capacity and cooling efficiency, so they hold up better under the sustained stress of track driving.
Strengthened steel lower mounts are standard on MacPherson-strut applications. Wishbone and multi-link applications use the standard aluminum lower mount, as on other KSport coilover kits.
A heavy-duty, all-steel pillowball adds strength and sharper steering response. Expect slightly more noise than an OEM rubber mount — that trade-off is normal for this class of part.
The inverted front design moves the gas/oil chamber farther from the knuckle and braking system, reducing heat transfer and unsprung weight for better handling and responsiveness.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. Steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
