The AWD version of the Asphalt Rally Spec AR suits the 1991 to 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT with all-wheel drive, and the Dodge Stealth of the same years with AWD is also listed. Springs are rated 9.8 kg/mm front and 8.7 kg/mm rear, and the adjustable lower mount keeps full shock travel while the car is lowered. Confirm the year, make and model with the checker before you order.
Each damper has 36 levels of adjustment, one knob per damper, and it changes compression and rebound together so the car can be tuned for uneven roads. The extended stroke and inverted shock design are meant to keep the car stable over rough surfaces, and inverted bodies at 55 mm add oil capacity and cooling under sustained stage loads.
Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Lock each collar with both spanner wrenches, and on MacPherson fronts set baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine tuning at the upper plate. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation.
Supported features
Gravel Rally springs range from 250 mm to 270 mm with extended cylinder length and piston stroke, greatly improving handling over uneven and bumpy roads. Height range varies per vehicle and does not exceed OE ride height.
Asphalt Rally uses inverted shocks on many MacPherson applications, moving the gas/oil chamber away from the knuckle and brakes to reduce heat transfer and unsprung weight.
Strengthened steel lower mounts are standard on MacPherson applications; Gravel Rally adds heavy-duty steel upper mounts on most applications. Wishbone and multi-link applications use the standard aluminum mounts.
Gravel Rally kits use unique hardened-rubber pillowball top mounts on MacPherson applications to absorb repeated impacts from loose surfaces.
Simultaneous compression and rebound adjustment across 36 levels, with carefully selected per-application spring rates and damping to stabilize the car over uneven roads.

Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there.
