Product details
Air ride for the AWD 1991 to 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT starts with a hands-on approach in the Airtech Basic kit. Manual paddle valves choose front or rear bags, and a dual-needle 200 psi gauge keeps both pressures in view.
Four application-specific air struts supply 36-way damping and adjustable lower mounts, so you can choose firmness and height independently. The kit adds a Viair 444C compressor, a 5-gallon black steel tank, hoses, wiring and installation manuals, plus the damping knob. The height range is 0 to 120/200 mm depending on the vehicle, and the single compressor can lift the car from lowest to maximum in as little as four seconds. The compatible list includes Dodge Stealth entries, some noted as AWD and some without a drivetrain note, so check the fitment details for your own car rather than relying on the badge. A professional should install it, and the system should be rechecked after the first 500 miles or one month.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment let you dial in the air struts. Insert the included damping knob and turn softer (counterclockwise) or stiffer (clockwise).
Air bags are engineered to match the vehicle. Sleeve-type and double-bellow bags are used depending on the OEM suspension design.
Like KSport coilovers, the struts allow fine-tuning of ride height at any pressure through an adjustable lower mount.
Chosen for reliability and performance; the single 444C can raise the car from lowest to maximum height in as little as four seconds. Airtech Basic and Deluxe raise in 4–7 seconds; Pro Plus and Executive raise faster, in 2–5 seconds.
Paddle valves control front and rear bags; the dual-needle gauge mounts beside the switches so pressure is always visible.
Camber-adjustable top mounts can be added on certain MacPherson-strut applications.

Choices for this system
Basic (paddle valves and gauge), Deluxe (electronic switches and remote), Pro Plus (OLED remote, four-corner control) and Executive (adds height sensors and auto-leveling) are separate part numbers for this vehicle; compare them on the Air Suspension page.
Available on certain MacPherson-strut applications; ask a technician whether they apply to this vehicle.
Installation
Bolt-on struts with supplied hoses, wiring and manuals; professional installation is recommended. Recheck the system after the first 500 miles or one month; to check for leaks, inflate to 70 psi and spray each fitting with soapy water.
