Product details
Four assembled coilovers make up the GT Pro package for the 1999 to 2003 Mazda Protege. Springs are rated 7.5 kg/mm at the front and 4 kg/mm at the rear, and each damper is a 55 mm monotube body with 36 levels of damping adjustment.
The adjustable lower mount keeps full shock travel while you lower the car, and a spring perch covers any application that has no lower mount. The kit comes with damping knobs and spanner wrenches, and the upper mounts are pillowball types with camber adjustment on MacPherson-strut fronts.
The same coilovers are also listed for the 1999 to 2003 Mazda 323. Confirm the Protege year, make and model before ordering, then have the alignment checked once the height is set. Steel lower mounts are standard on MacPherson-strut applications, which strengthens the front end.
Supported features
All KSport coilovers offer 36 levels of damping adjustment. Damping alters compression and rebound together for effective, easy-to-use changes.
GT Pro uses 55mm shock bodies for added oil capacity and cooling efficiency, so they hold up better under the sustained stress of track driving.
Strengthened steel lower mounts are standard on MacPherson-strut applications. Wishbone and multi-link applications use the standard aluminum lower mount, as on other KSport coilover kits.
A heavy-duty, all-steel pillowball adds strength and sharper steering response. Expect slightly more noise than an OEM rubber mount — that trade-off is normal for this class of part.
The inverted front design moves the gas/oil chamber farther from the knuckle and braking system, reducing heat transfer and unsprung weight for better handling and responsiveness.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. Steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
Coilover setup, height and damping guidesWarranty & service
12-month limited warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship. Racing use, exterior finish and improperly installed or modified parts are not covered; keep your original invoice for any claim. KSport coilovers are rebuildable; replacement shocks, springs, mounts and hardware are sold individually.
