A complete air ride package for the 1999 to 2003 Mazda Protege starts with four application-specific struts, each carrying 36-way damping, and a single Viair 444C compressor. Manual paddle valves run the front and rear bags, and a dual-needle 200 psi gauge sits beside them so pressure is easy to read. The air tank is a 5-gallon black steel unit, and the height range is 0 to 120 mm or 200 mm depending on the vehicle.
Installation is bolt-on with all hoses, wiring and manuals included, though a professional install is recommended. Checking for leaks means inflating to 70 psi and spraying each fitting with soapy water, and the system should be checked again after 500 miles or one month.

36 levels of damping adjustment let you dial in the air struts. Insert the included damping knob and turn softer (counterclockwise) or stiffer (clockwise).
