The Basic air suspension kit is made for the 1988-1992 Mazda MX-6 and comes with four application-specific air struts, each with 36-way damping and an adjustable lower mount. A Viair 444C compressor, a 5-gallon black steel air tank and manual paddle valves complete the system.
The gauge is a dual-needle 200 psi unit that sits beside the paddle valves, so pressure is always visible. Front and rear bags are controlled by hand, and damping is set with the included knob, turning counterclockwise for softer and clockwise for stiffer. Sleeve-type or double-bellow bags are fitted to suit the OEM suspension design.
The 1989 Ford Probe is also listed for this kit. Professional installation is recommended, and the hoses, wiring and manuals are included. A Basic-level raise takes roughly four to seven seconds, so check your year and model with the KSport checker before ordering.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment let you dial in the air struts. Insert the included damping knob and turn softer (counterclockwise) or stiffer (clockwise).
Air bags are engineered to match the vehicle. Sleeve-type and double-bellow bags are used depending on the OEM suspension design.
Like KSport coilovers, the struts allow fine-tuning of ride height at any pressure through an adjustable lower mount.
Chosen for reliability and performance; the single 444C can raise the car from lowest to maximum height in as little as four seconds. Airtech Basic and Deluxe raise in 4–7 seconds; Pro Plus and Executive raise faster, in 2–5 seconds.
Paddle valves control front and rear bags; the dual-needle gauge mounts beside the switches so pressure is always visible.
Camber-adjustable top mounts can be added on certain MacPherson-strut applications.
