Product details
The Airtech Air Suspension kit for the 1988 Mazda MX-6 (CFD040-ASO) supplies front and rear air strut assemblies, two of each. Management is not included, so if you already have a controller in mind, this strut-only kit leaves that choice to you. The struts are designed to suit most air management systems.
Each strut has 36 levels of damping adjustment on the included knob, and the adjustable lower mounts give fine height control at any pressure. The air spring provides near-infinite ride height adjustability. Range runs 0-120/200 mm, depending on the car.
Professional installation is the recommended route, and the OEM top mounts may need modifying on some applications. Recheck all air-line connections after the first 500 miles or one month. The tool kit holds spanner wrenches, damping knobs and application-specific brake line brackets, with an owner's manual, and the Ford Probe from 1989 to 1992 is also listed.
