For the 1992 to 2000 Lexus SC400, this Supercomp kit brings 8-piston calipers with 16.6 in cross-drilled two-piece rotors to the JZZ30 chassis. The calipers are made from a single piece of billet aluminum and bolt to the OEM caliper bracket location through CNC-machined carbon steel brackets.
Rotor choice is a real decision. Cross-drilled rotors run cooler and are recommended for daily-driven vehicles, while slotted rotors are recommended for those that see more track use; each is a separate part number. The outer ring floats for self-centering, reducing drag. SC5 street pads, stainless braided lines and the mounting hardware come standard, and the caliper finish, pads and center bells are chosen at checkout.
The kit works with the OEM master cylinder and ABS. Bed the pads in after fitting with ten light-to-medium stops from 30 to 45 mph, and expect some noise before the brakes warm up, which the page calls normal for big brake kits. Installation
Bolt-on installation with the supplied brackets; no vehicle modification on most applications. After fitting, bed the pads in: on a clear road, ten light-to-medium stops from 30–45 mph, three seconds each, at least a quarter mile apart. Some noise before the brakes warm up is normal for big brake kits.

12-month limited warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship. Racing use, exterior finish and improperly installed or modified parts are not covered; keep your original invoice for any claim. Small surface cracks on cross-drilled rotors are normal wear and not a defect. Replacement pads, rotors, lines and hardware are sold individually.
