A 1992 to 2000 Lexus SC400 is a grand tourer first, so a rear brake upgrade needs to keep daily comfort intact. This Dualcomp kit uses 13 inch cross-drilled two-piece rotors, which the page describes as the cooler-running choice for driven-every-day cars, behind four-piston billet aluminum calipers that bolt to the OEM bracket position through machined carbon steel brackets.
The caliper is split into two jobs. Two pistons operate the foot brake while the other two run the handbrake, each on an independent circuit, and a polished titanium handbrake cylinder and lever finish the arrangement. The kit includes that hydraulic handbrake caliper circuit, street pads and stainless-steel braided lines, with caliper colour, pads and center bells selected on the page.

Installation
Bolt-on installation with the supplied brackets; no vehicle modification on most applications. After fitting, bed the pads in: on a clear road, ten light-to-medium stops from 30–45 mph, three seconds each, at least a quarter mile apart. Some noise before the brakes warm up is normal for big brake kits.
