This Airtech Basic kit brings adjustable height to the 1992 to 2000 Lexus SC400 (JZZ30). It is a complete system: four application-specific air struts with 36-way damping, a Viair 444C compressor, a 5-gallon black steel air tank, manual paddle valves and a dual-needle gauge that reads up to 200 psi across the front and rear circuits.
Control is manual. Paddle valves feed the front and rear bags, and the gauge sits beside the switches so pressure stays in view. Height is raised by filling the bags and lowered by bleeding them, and the adjustable lower mounts let you fine-tune height at any pressure. Basic raises the car in roughly 4 to 7 seconds, while the faster Pro Plus and Executive levels are separate part numbers for this vehicle.
Installation is bolt-on, and the hoses, wiring and manuals are supplied. Professional installation is recommended. Recheck the system after the first 500 miles or one month, and for a leak check inflate to 70 psi and spray each fitting with soapy water. Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment let you dial in the air struts. Insert the included damping knob and turn softer (counterclockwise) or stiffer (clockwise).
Air bags are engineered to match the vehicle. Sleeve-type and double-bellow bags are used depending on the OEM suspension design.
Like KSport coilovers, the struts allow fine-tuning of ride height at any pressure through an adjustable lower mount.
Chosen for reliability and performance; the single 444C can raise the car from lowest to maximum height in as little as four seconds. Airtech Basic and Deluxe raise in 4–7 seconds; Pro Plus and Executive raise faster, in 2–5 seconds.
Paddle valves control front and rear bags; the dual-needle gauge mounts beside the switches so pressure is always visible.
Camber-adjustable top mounts can be added on certain MacPherson-strut applications.
