The Kontrol Plus 2-Way coilover is for a 2014 to 2018 Lexus IS350 (rear-wheel drive, including F Sport). Four assembled coilovers come sprung and valved for this application, with springs rated 16 kg/mm front and 10 kg/mm rear, and damping 60 to 150 percent firmer than the Kontrol Pro, with springs 2 to 3 kg stiffer.
Each damper has 36 levels of damping at the top, and a separate 24 nitrogen levels sit at the bottom of an external reservoir. Rebound, compression and nitrogen pressure can therefore be set on their own, giving 864 possible settings to tune the ride for a daily commute or a track session.
Pillowball mounts on MacPherson fronts add camber and caster adjustment, and the adjustable lower mount sets height without shortening shock travel. Use both spanner wrenches on each collar and have the car aligned after installation. Use the year, make and model checker before ordering. Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
