An all-wheel-drive 2014 to 2016 Lexus IS350 fits the Airtech Basic kit, a complete manual system. It includes four application-specific air struts with 36-way damping, a Viair 444C compressor, a 5-gallon black steel tank, manual paddle valves and a dual-needle 200 psi gauge.
At this level the car is raised and lowered by hand from the paddle valves. Each strut's damping is set with the knob supplied, which covers 36 levels from softest to firmest. The adjustable lower mounts let you fine-tune height at any pressure, and this level raises the car in roughly 4 to 7 seconds.
The kit comes with hoses, wiring and manuals. After the first 500 miles or one month, recheck the connections and test for leaks at 70 psi with soapy water. Deluxe, Pro Plus and Executive are separate part numbers for this vehicle, so settle on the level before ordering. The IS250 is also listed for this system.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment let you dial in the air struts. Insert the included damping knob and turn softer (counterclockwise) or stiffer (clockwise).
Air bags are engineered to match the vehicle. Sleeve-type and double-bellow bags are used depending on the OEM suspension design.
Like KSport coilovers, the struts allow fine-tuning of ride height at any pressure through an adjustable lower mount.
Chosen for reliability and performance; the single 444C can raise the car from lowest to maximum height in as little as four seconds. Airtech Basic and Deluxe raise in 4–7 seconds; Pro Plus and Executive raise faster, in 2–5 seconds.
Paddle valves control front and rear bags; the dual-needle gauge mounts beside the switches so pressure is always visible.
Camber-adjustable top mounts can be added on certain MacPherson-strut applications.
