A 2014 to 2018 Lexus IS250 (rear-wheel drive, including F-Sport) suits the Kontrol Pro coilover, which arrives as four assembled coilovers sprung and valved for the application. Front springs are rated 14 kg/mm and rear springs 12 kg/mm.
The 36 damping levels on each damper let you run a soft, comfortable setup for daily driving or firm things up for the track. A monotube body cools more evenly than twin-tube designs and allows finer damping control. A dust boot with the bump stop integrated inside guards the damper seal.
Set ride height on the adjustable lower mount, which keeps full shock travel while the car is lowered. Lock each collar with both spanner wrenches and have a shop align the car after installation. Camber can be adjusted on the pillowball upper mount where it is fitted. Check the fit against the year, make and model checker. The GS350, IS350 and RC 350 are also listed for this kit.

Applications with a pillowball upper mount often include camber adjustment — useful for dialing in alignment after lowering, and it removes the need for a separate camber kit.
Applications for MacPherson-strut suspension typically use a pillowball upper mount. The bearing design resists the noise common to other coilovers, and steering feel and response improve.
Most Kontrol Pro applications adjust ride height independently of shock and spring travel, so you can set your stance without risking bottoming out the shock.
Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder. Compared with twin-tube construction, a monotube design dissipates heat faster and more evenly, allows finer damping adjustment, and resists aeration and cavitation.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for a lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant build. Steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.
A dust boot is standard on every Kontrol Pro coilover to protect the damper seal, with the bump stop integrated inside it — more efficient, and less prone to crumbling than a separate bump stop.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
