The Kontrol Pro coilover for a 2006 to 2013 Lexus IS250 with all-wheel drive arrives as four assembled coilovers, sprung and valved for this application. Springs are 10 kg/mm in front and 8.7 kg/mm at the rear.
Each damper has 36 levels of damping adjustment, so a full-soft setting suits daily driving and a firmer setting suits a track day. The monotube body sheds heat faster and more evenly than a twin-tube design, and the finer adjustment makes dialing in the feel easier. A dust boot with the bump stop built in protects the damper seal.
Camber can be dialed in where the application has a pillowball upper mount, which is useful after lowering. Set ride height on the adjustable lower mount, lock every collar with both spanner wrenches, and align the car afterward. Check fit with the year, make and model checker. Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for a lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant build. Steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.
A dust boot is standard on every Kontrol Pro coilover to protect the damper seal, with the bump stop integrated inside it — more efficient, and less prone to crumbling than a separate bump stop.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
