Slots define the front of this 1998-2005 Lexus GS430 JZS161 kit, which runs eight-piston Supercomp calipers on 16.6 in two-piece slotted rotors. It suits a front-only upgrade on the GS430. The face is slotted rather than drilled.
Two front Supercomp calipers, two two-piece slotted rotors, SC5 street pads, stainless-steel braided lines, and caliper mounting brackets with hardware are the contents of the set. Each caliper is one-piece billet aluminum, and color is chosen when you configure the order. The kit covers the front axle only.
Run the year, make and model checker for the GS430 and match part number BKLX050-971SO. Measure wheel clearance at the barrel and spokes before choosing a wheel for a 16.6 in rotor. A slotted front set is the choice when the drilled look is not wanted.

Cross-drilled rotors suit daily driving; slotted rotors suit track use. Each is a separate part number.

Installation
Bolt-on installation with the supplied brackets; no vehicle modification on most applications. After fitting, bed the pads in: on a clear road, ten light-to-medium stops from 30–45 mph, three seconds each, at least a quarter mile apart. Some noise before the brakes warm up is normal for big brake kits.
Brake system support and bed-in procedureWarranty & service
12-month limited warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship. Racing use, exterior finish and improperly installed or modified parts are not covered; keep your original invoice for any claim. Small surface cracks on cross-drilled rotors are normal wear and not a defect. Replacement pads, rotors, lines and hardware are sold individually.
