The slotted Procomp rear kit fits the 1998-2005 Lexus GS430 JZS161, pairing four-piston calipers with 14 in two-piece slotted rotors. It is a good fit for a rear-only refresh with a slotted look. The rotors are two-piece with aluminum center bells, which keeps the hub assembly a finished unit.
Included are two Procomp calipers for the rear axle, two slotted rotors with aluminum center bells, and SC1 street pads. The calipers are one-piece billet aluminum, and no front components come with the set. Caliper color is picked at configuration.
Use the year, make and model checker before ordering, and compare part number BKLX050-443SO with the cross-drilled Procomp version. An 18 in or larger wheel is the planning rule, about 4 in over the rotor, so check the barrel and spokes. The part number is the clearest way to separate the slotted and drilled versions.
Supported features
Lightweight 6-pot aluminum calipers are standard on 11 in and 12 in front systems; 8-pot calipers on 13 in and 14 in. The opposed-piston design greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM.
Lightweight 2-pot aluminum calipers are standard on 11 in and 12 in rear kits; 4-pot on 13 in and 14 in systems.
Two-piece rotors provide light weight, fade-free performance and grip on the track with comfortable, easy operation under normal driving.
CNC-machined carbon steel brackets let the larger calipers bolt to the OEM caliper bracket location.
Cross-drilled rotors run cooler and are recommended for daily-driven vehicles; slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that see more track use.
NAOC ceramic street pads (194–1022°F operating range) reduce dust and rotor wear; DOT-compliant stainless braided lines resist expansion for a firmer, quicker pedal.

Installation
Bolt-on installation with the supplied brackets; no vehicle modification on most applications. After fitting, bed the pads in: on a clear road, ten light-to-medium stops from 30–45 mph, three seconds each, at least a quarter mile apart. Some noise before the brakes warm up is normal for big brake kits.

12-month limited warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship. Racing use, exterior finish and improperly installed or modified parts are not covered; keep your original invoice for any claim. Small surface cracks on cross-drilled rotors are normal wear and not a defect. Replacement pads, rotors, lines and hardware are sold individually.
