Rear brakes rarely get the spotlight, but on the 2006 to 2012 Lexus GS430 this Dualcomp kit is a thoughtful one because it keeps a working handbrake. The 4-piston billet aluminum caliper is a dual-circuit design: two pistons serve the foot brake and two serve the handbrake, each on its own independent system, backed by a polished titanium handbrake cylinder and lever.
The rotors are 13 in (330 mm), two-piece and cross-drilled, described as commonly up to 50% lighter than OEM rotors of the same size. Cross-drilled is the daily-driving version of this kit; the slotted version suits track use and is listed on the Dualcomp page. The page cites a planning rule of 17 in or larger wheels, with the KSport template to be checked against the wheel barrel and spokes.
Included are the two calipers, two rotors with aluminum center bells, street pads, stainless braided lines, CNC-machined carbon steel brackets that use the OEM caliper bracket location, hardware and the hydraulic handbrake circuit. Installation
Bolt-on installation with the supplied brackets; no vehicle modification on most applications. After fitting, bed the pads in: on a clear road, ten light-to-medium stops from 30–45 mph, three seconds each, at least a quarter mile apart. Some noise before the brakes warm up is normal for big brake kits.

12-month limited warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship. Racing use, exterior finish and improperly installed or modified parts are not covered; keep your original invoice for any claim. Small surface cracks on cross-drilled rotors are normal wear and not a defect. Replacement pads, rotors, lines and hardware are sold individually.
