At the simplest end of the Airtech range, the Basic system turns a 2016 to 2018 Kia Optima (LF) into an air-ride car with manual control. Part number CHY270-ABA includes a Viair 444C compressor, a 5-gallon black steel tank and four application-specific struts.
You steer height with paddle valves for the front and rear bags and read pressure on a dual-needle 200 psi gauge. KSport notes that Basic and Deluxe systems raise in 4 to 7 seconds, which is a useful number to know when you are weighing it against the remote-controlled levels. Struts have 36 damping levels, controlled with the included knob, plus adjustable lower mounts that let you finish the stance at any pressure.
Hoses, wiring and manuals are supplied.
