The all-wheel-drive 2009 to 2013 Infiniti G37X has its own Kontrol Pro kit, CIN021-KP, rather than sharing a rear-drive setup. Spring rates are 16 kg/mm up front and 8.7 kg/mm in the rear, and the rear is a true rear coilover.
The kit gives you the Kontrol Pro basics: 36 levels of damping, an adjustable lower mount for setting stance without limiting shock stroke, and monotube high-pressure dampers. The camber-adjustable pillowball top mount helps once the car is lowered, and a dust boot with an integrated bump stop protects the seal. Billet aluminum parts are machined from 6061-T6, with zinc-plated steel shock bodies.
Four coilovers, upper mounts, knobs and spanner wrenches are included. This part number is also listed for several other AWD cars: the 2006 to 2010 M45X and M35X, the 2003 to 2008 G35X (V35 sedan AWD) and the 2014 to 2015 Q40X. The match depends on drivetrain and chassis, so verify with the year/make/model checker before buying.

Most Kontrol Pro applications adjust ride height independently of shock and spring travel, so you can set your stance without risking bottoming out the shock.
Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder. Compared with twin-tube construction, a monotube design dissipates heat faster and more evenly, allows finer damping adjustment, and resists aeration and cavitation.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for a lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant build. Steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.
A dust boot is standard on every Kontrol Pro coilover to protect the damper seal, with the bump stop integrated inside it — more efficient, and less prone to crumbling than a separate bump stop.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
