Kontrol Plus 2-Way is the 1988 Honda CR-X EF option with eyelet rear shock, part CHD011-P2. Its two adjustments are 36 damping levels at the top and 24 nitrogen levels at the bottom of the reservoir, for 864 possible settings. Springs are rated 12 kg/mm front and 6.3 kg/mm rear.
Relative to the Kontrol Pro, these 2-way systems run 2-3 kg stiffer spring rates and 60-150% stiffer damping. The 2-way layout gives independent control of rebound, compression and nitrogen pressure, and the external reservoir is standard. Its monotube body spreads heat out and resists aeration.
Ride height is set on the adjustable lower mount, which keeps full shock travel, and advanced pillowball mounts with camber and caster adjustment appear on MacPherson fronts. Each coilover arrives sprung and valved for this application. Confirm fitment with the year/make/model checker.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
