Kontrol Plus 2-Way for the 1989-1991 Honda CR-X EF (CHD010-P2) splits its adjustment in two. You get 36 damping levels at the top of the assembly and 24 nitrogen levels at the bottom of the external reservoir, which gives 864 possible settings when rebound, compression and nitrogen are set independently.
Springs are rated 12 kg/mm front and 6.3 kg/mm rear. These 2-way systems run 2-3 kg stiffer spring rates and 60-150% stiffer damping than the Kontrol Pro kit, so that comparison is the key number to know before you choose. Each coilover arrives sprung and valved for this application.
The monotube body dissipates heat evenly and resists aeration and cavitation. Advanced pillowball mounts with camber and caster adjustment are standard on MacPherson-strut applications. Ride height is set on the adjustable lower mount, and the Integra from 1990 to 1993 and the Civic from 1989 to 1991 are also listed, so verify with the year/make/model checker.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
