The Asphalt Rally Spec AR (CHD010-AR) is set up for the 1989-1991 Honda CR-X EF, with springs rated 16 kg/mm front and 8.7 kg/mm rear. Four assembled coilovers arrive sprung and valved for this application, and the AR build brings an extended stroke with an inverted 55 mm shock on MacPherson-strut applications.
Moving the gas and oil chamber off the knuckle and brakes is the point of the inverted design, since it cuts heat transfer and unsprung weight. A 55 mm body on the inverted units adds oil volume for long, hard sessions. Each damper gets its own knob with 36 steps, and the knob changes compression and rebound together.
Ride height is set on the adjustable lower mount, which keeps full shock travel while the car drops. Pillowball upper mounts with camber adjustment sit on MacPherson fronts, and the spring perch takes over where the layout has no lower mount. The Integra from 1990 to 1993 and the Civic from 1989 to 1991 are also listed, so confirm your chassis with the year/make/model checker.

Gravel Rally springs range from 250 mm to 270 mm with extended cylinder length and piston stroke, greatly improving handling over uneven and bumpy roads. Height range varies per vehicle and does not exceed OE ride height.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
