The Basic air kit for the 2017 and 2018 Honda Civic Si (FB/FG body) is CHD421-ABA. It is a complete system with four application-specific air struts, a Viair 444C compressor, a 5-gallon black steel tank, and manual paddle valves with a dual-needle 200 psi front and rear gauge. The factory adaptive damper will not function with this setup.
Everything in the box is supplied, including hoses, wiring and manuals, and each strut's 36 levels of damping are set with the included knob. Manual paddle valves run the front and rear bags, and the gauge sits beside them so pressure is always visible. The 444C can raise the car from lowest to highest height in as little as four seconds, while the Basic and Deluxe raise in four to seven seconds. Camber-adjustable top mounts can be added on some MacPherson-strut applications. Confirm fitment with the year, make and model checker before ordering, and ask about the Deluxe, Pro Plus or Executive level if you want remote or auto-leveling control.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment let you dial in the air struts. Insert the included damping knob and turn softer (counterclockwise) or stiffer (clockwise).
Air bags are engineered to match the vehicle. Sleeve-type and double-bellow bags are used depending on the OEM suspension design.
Like KSport coilovers, the struts allow fine-tuning of ride height at any pressure through an adjustable lower mount.
Chosen for reliability and performance; the single 444C can raise the car from lowest to maximum height in as little as four seconds. Airtech Basic and Deluxe raise in 4–7 seconds; Pro Plus and Executive raise faster, in 2–5 seconds.
Paddle valves control front and rear bags; the dual-needle gauge mounts beside the switches so pressure is always visible.
Camber-adjustable top mounts can be added on certain MacPherson-strut applications.
