The Kontrol Pro coilover for the 2005 to 2008 RWD Dodge Magnum uses split spring rates: 12 kg/mm up front and 25 kg/mm at the rear. The monotube high-pressure damper keeps oil and gas separated, which the page says sheds heat faster and more evenly than twin-tube construction and resists aeration.
Set damping to full soft for easy daily use, or firm up compression and rebound for the track; all 36 levels come from one knob per damper. Ride height is moved at the adjustable lower mount, so you can set your stance without risking the shock bottoming out. Mounts, collars and spring perches are 6061-T6 billet aluminum, and the steel bodies are zinc-plated.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
