The 2011-2018 Dodge Charger is the target for this CCY030-KP Kontrol Pro kit. Its four assembled coilovers are rated 12 kg/mm at the front and 25 kg/mm at the rear, and that rear rate is the number to note when comparing this kit with lighter sets. Every unit is sprung and valved for this vehicle rather than offered as a one-size setup.
One knob per damper provides 36 levels of damping, from comfortable street settings to firmer control on a fast road. The adjustable lower mount lets you lower the car while keeping full shock travel at that height. The monotube, high-pressure body dissipates heat evenly, and steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for corrosion resistance.
Set ride height at the adjustable lower mount, lock every collar with both spanner wrenches, and start the damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff. Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
