Product details
The Charger AWD version of Kontrol Pro (CCY021-KP) is built for the 2006-2010 Dodge Charger AWD. Springs are rated 14 kg/mm front and 25 kg/mm rear, and each coilover is sprung and valved for this application. The front rate is the lower of the two, which is worth remembering when you set the car up.
Monotube construction separates oil and gas inside the cylinder, which helps heat leave the damper more evenly and allows finer damping adjustment with less risk of aeration and cavitation. Every coilover carries 36 levels of adjustment on one knob per damper. Adjustment changes compression and rebound together, so a small turn gives a clear result on the road.
Ride height is set on the adjustable lower mount, so you can lower the car while keeping full shock travel. Where the car has a pillowball upper mount, camber can be dialed in, which removes the need for a separate camber kit. The 2005-2010 Chrysler 300 AWD trim is also listed, so verify your trim with the year/make/model checker before you order.
Supported features
Every KSport coilover offers 36 levels of damping adjustment. Set full soft for comfortable daily driving, or firm up the compression and rebound for the track.
Applications with a pillowball upper mount often include camber adjustment — useful for dialing in alignment after lowering, and it removes the need for a separate camber kit.
Applications for MacPherson-strut suspension typically use a pillowball upper mount. The bearing design resists the noise common to other coilovers, and steering feel and response improve.
Most Kontrol Pro applications adjust ride height independently of shock and spring travel, so you can set your stance without risking bottoming out the shock.
Oil and gas stay separated within the cylinder. Compared with twin-tube construction, a monotube design dissipates heat faster and more evenly, allows finer damping adjustment, and resists aeration and cavitation.
Mounts, collars, and spring perches are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for a lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant build. Steel shock bodies are zinc-plated for added protection from corrosion.
A dust boot is standard on every Kontrol Pro coilover to protect the damper seal, with the bump stop integrated inside it — more efficient, and less prone to crumbling than a separate bump stop.

Installation
Set ride height with the adjustable lower mount where the application has one; use the spring perch only where the application-specific layout has no adjustable lower mount. Lock every collar with both spanner wrenches. Start damping 18 clicks counterclockwise from full stiff and adjust from there. Professional setup and alignment are required after installation; on MacPherson fronts, establish baseline camber at the elongated lower-mount hole before fine adjustment at the upper plate.
