Airtech Basic is the entry point to KSport air suspension for the 2011-2017 BMW M5 F10 RWD. It is a complete system: four application-specific air struts with 36-way damping and adjustable lower mounts, a single Viair 444C compressor, a 5-gallon black steel tank, and manual paddle valves with a dual-needle 200 psi front and rear gauge. Hoses, wiring and manuals are in the box.
Height is adjusted by hand. The paddle valves control the front and rear bags, and the gauge sits beside them so pressure stays visible while you work. The damping knob turns softer counterclockwise and stiffer clockwise, and the adjustable lower mounts let you fine-tune height at any pressure. With this configuration the 444C raises the car from lowest to maximum height in four to seven seconds.
Height range is 0-120/200 mm depending on the vehicle. Installation is bolt-on, but professional installation is recommended. After the first 500 miles or one month, recheck the system, and to look for leaks inflate to 70 psi and spray each fitting with soapy water. Deluxe, Pro Plus and Executive are separate part numbers if you want electronic or remote control, and the year/make/model checker should confirm your fitment first.
Supported features
36 levels of damping adjustment let you dial in the air struts. Insert the included damping knob and turn softer (counterclockwise) or stiffer (clockwise).
Air bags are engineered to match the vehicle. Sleeve-type and double-bellow bags are used depending on the OEM suspension design.
Like KSport coilovers, the struts allow fine-tuning of ride height at any pressure through an adjustable lower mount.
Chosen for reliability and performance; the single 444C can raise the car from lowest to maximum height in as little as four seconds. Airtech Basic and Deluxe raise in 4–7 seconds; Pro Plus and Executive raise faster, in 2–5 seconds.
Paddle valves control front and rear bags; the dual-needle gauge mounts beside the switches so pressure is always visible.
Camber-adjustable top mounts can be added on certain MacPherson-strut applications.
