The maximum-diameter option for the 2016-2018 BMW M4 F82 is this slotted front kit, with eight-piston one-piece billet aluminum calipers and two-piece slotted rotors at 16.6 in. The slots are the choice for a driver who expects repeated hard braking at speed, and the friction face gets a way to clear gas and debris under load.
The package holds the calipers, the rotors with aluminum center bells, SC5 street pads, stainless-steel braided brake lines and CNC-machined carbon steel brackets for the caliper mounting points. Slotted rotors are sold under their own part number, and the kit is also listed for the 2016-2018 BMW M3 in the F80 chassis.
Wheel fitment deserves the first look, because a 16.6 in rotor needs a generous wheel. Compare the barrel and spokes against the KSport template and confirm the application with the year, make and model checker. The OEM master cylinder and ABS stay in use with this system, and the factory handbrake will not operate once the new front brakes are installed.

Installation
Bolt-on installation with the supplied brackets; no vehicle modification on most applications. After fitting, bed the pads in: on a clear road, ten light-to-medium stops from 30–45 mph, three seconds each, at least a quarter mile apart. Some noise before the brakes warm up is normal for big brake kits.

12-month limited warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship. Racing use, exterior finish and improperly installed or modified parts are not covered; keep your original invoice for any claim. Small surface cracks on cross-drilled rotors are normal wear and not a defect. Replacement pads, rotors, lines and hardware are sold individually.
