Designed for the 2016-2018 BMW M4 in the F82 chassis, this rear big brake kit has 15 in cross-drilled two-piece rotors and aluminum center bells. The six-piston calipers are the defining feature of this rear system, and the cross-drilled faces help the discs run cooler through repeated fast stops.
The single approved application for this kit is the 2016-2018 M4, and the kit is also listed for the 2016-2018 BMW M3 in the F80 chassis, so check which car you own before ordering. The box includes stainless-steel braided brake lines, caliper mounting brackets and hardware, and the kit ships with street pads for daily use.
Fitment is simple to verify with the year, make and model checker, and the system works with the OEM master cylinder and ABS. Installation
Bolt-on installation with the supplied brackets; no vehicle modification on most applications. After fitting, bed the pads in: on a clear road, ten light-to-medium stops from 30–45 mph, three seconds each, at least a quarter mile apart. Some noise before the brakes warm up is normal for big brake kits.
Brake system support and bed-in procedureWarranty & service
12-month limited warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship. Racing use, exterior finish and improperly installed or modified parts are not covered; keep your original invoice for any claim. Small surface cracks on cross-drilled rotors are normal wear and not a defect. Replacement pads, rotors, lines and hardware are sold individually.
