The Slimline front kit for the 1983-1987 Audi 90 B4 replaces the factory front brakes with three-piston calipers and two 12 in two-piece cross-drilled rotors with aluminum center bells. Each caliper is a one-piece billet aluminum body, designed to fit behind wheels with tighter clearance, which suits a compact sedan that spends most of its life on city streets and back roads.
Cross-drilled rotors run cooler than plain discs, so this setup is a comfortable step up for a daily driver that still sees the occasional spirited run. SC5 street pads, stainless-steel braided lines and CNC-machined carbon steel brackets that bolt to the original caliper bracket location all come in the box. The kit is also listed for the 1983-1987 Audi 80 in the B4 chassis with front-wheel drive.
The kit works with the factory master cylinder and ABS, but the factory handbrake will not function once this system is fitted, so plan for that. Wheel clearance is the main fit question: the planning rule is a 16 in or larger wheel with about 4 in over the rotor. Confirm fitment with the year, make and model checker, and choose your caliper finish and pads above before ordering.

Installation
Bolt-on installation with the supplied brackets; no vehicle modification on most applications. After fitting, bed the pads in: on a clear road, ten light-to-medium stops from 30–45 mph, three seconds each, at least a quarter mile apart. Some noise before the brakes warm up is normal for big brake kits.

12-month limited warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship. Racing use, exterior finish and improperly installed or modified parts are not covered; keep your original invoice for any claim. Small surface cracks on cross-drilled rotors are normal wear and not a defect. Replacement pads, rotors, lines and hardware are sold individually.
