01 / Application
One model name. Details that matter.
The DB9 pairs a V12 engine with a grand-touring body, offered as a coupe and an open-top Volante. Start with your model year, then check body style and the suspension and brake equipment already on your car. A model-year match is the starting point; the individual part number and application notes determine the product you should order.
The catalog currently lists 2004–2016 DB9 applications. It does not mean every system or mounting arrangement is identical across those cars. If your car has modified suspension, non-standard wheels or different factory equipment, have those details ready when asking for fitment advice.
02 / Coilovers
Balance ride height, spring rate and damping.
A coilover system brings spring and damper selection together. Decide whether your priority is everyday road use, a particular stance or more focused driving before choosing a series. Spring rate and damping work as a pair; choosing the stiffest setting alone does not establish a balanced setup.
Kontrol Pro offers 36 damping settings and adjustable ride height. Confirm the DB9 kit’s spring rates and adjustment instructions on its product page. Height, spring preload and damping serve different purposes, so use the application’s instructions when planning a setup.

Look beyond the adjustment count.
Damper construction and upper mounts also shape the choice. KSport’s monotube design separates the oil and gas with a floating piston. The spring and mount arrangement is application-specific; a family photograph is an illustration of the system, not proof that every kit includes the same mounts.
Pillowball mounts and camber adjustment are offered on selected applications. Confirm the DB9 kit’s supplied hardware rather than assuming camber plates are included. Ask about mount type and your preferred balance of response, noise and vibration before ordering.

Airtech provides a different route to adjustable ride height. Compare complete systems by their management equipment as well as the vehicle-specific suspension components. Controls, tank, compressor and accessories should be assessed as one installation.
For the DB9, compare the Airtech options actually listed for your selected year. Pro Plus uses digital controls and pressure-based leveling; Executive adds height sensors. Plan the location of the management components with your installer and verify the exact kit contents on the product page.

Match the kit to the axle and wheel.
DB9 brake listings are separate front and rear applications, with different rotor sizes and drilled or slotted options. Compare the complete product title and part number; similar product photographs do not mean the kits are interchangeable or that both axles are included.
Check the specified rotor and caliper dimensions, wheel clearance and existing brake equipment before ordering. Use KSport’s brake resources and technical team to verify your proposed combination. Larger hardware alone is not a promise of a shorter stopping distance.
06 / Complete setup
Keep the whole chassis in view.
Before changing components, consider the condition of the existing dampers, mounts, bushings and tires. Ride-height changes also affect the surrounding suspension geometry, so discuss alignment and anti-roll-bar/end-link setup with your installer. Sway bars are a setup topic here, not a claim that KSport lists a DB9 sway-bar kit.
