After being absent from the drift community for two years, Team Ksport USA battled their way thru the 2011 competition season with our driver, Corey Hosford.
Piloting our LS1 powered Nissan 240sx S13.5, Hosford secured his Formula Drift license in only 3 Pro-Am events.
Our re-entry into the drifting community led us to wanting to unleash something completely new for the 2012 Formula Drift Competition Series. After a few weeks of deliberation, we decided on building our Nissan 350Z due to its excellent handling characteristics, attractive body lines, and the abundance of aftermarket support available for the chassis.
The Ksport Formula Drift 350Z debuted at the 2011 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, and competed in the 2013 and 2013 Formula Drift Series.
About The Driver
Corey Hosford, Gilbert, AZ
Corey Hosford joined the Ksport team in March of 2011 after hearing from several of his co-workers at the Bondurant School of High-Performance Driving that we were looking for a new driver. Being a rookie in the drift world didn’t stop Hosford from jumping straight in and securing 2 out of 3 podium finishes during the Vegas Pro-Am Series, leading him to secure his Formula Drift license in 2011.
Although no longer currently driving Formula Drift, Hosford is still active in the drift community and represents Ksport at numerous events across the country.
